Seal Team is an American military drama television series that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan, and execute dangerous and high-stakes missions around the world. The series premiered on CBS on September 27, 2017, and has since aired four seasons, with a fifth season set to release in the near future.
The series stars David Boreanaz as Jason Hayes, a senior chief special warfare operator who leads the team. Other series regulars include Max Thieriot as Clay Spenser, Neil Brown Jr. as Ray Perry, AJ Buckley as Sonny Quinn, Toni Trucks as Lisa Davis, and Jessica Paré as Mandy Ellis.
Throughout the series, the team faces a range of challenges, from hunting down terrorists to rescuing hostages to carrying out covert operations. They also deal with personal struggles and relationships, both within and outside of the team.
In season one, the team is sent to Yemen to capture a high-value target, which ultimately leads to the death of one of their own. They also work to rescue hostages in Nigeria and prevent a nuclear threat in North Korea.
